Dear colleagues and patients concerned with the topic of wounds, Welcome to the 8th Nuremberg Wound Congress (WUKO) 2025, which, thanks to your interest and commitment, has become one of Germany's largest wound care congresses – with steadily growing attendance! With almost 2,000 participants, WUKO has become a mainstay in the wound care community. What can you expect this year? Under the new motto “Wound Treatment – Innovative, Scientific, and Social,” we aim to discuss new approaches in wound treatment, highlight the evidence, and address the often difficult social situations faced by our patients and their care under challenging conditions. The tried-and-tested format includes main sessions, sessions of several specialist societies and associations, as well as 30 practical skills courses. All this takes place in the “Meistersingerhalle” congress center in Nuremberg. The scientific sessions are complemented by industry exhibitions, presenting the latest products and offering instructive and culinary lunch sessions. We also invite you to present your current research as an abstract, poster, or oral presentation to our specialist audience.
