Welcome to the 50th Annual Meeting of the Society for Neuropediatrics (GNP) in Bern, Switzerland! Dear colleagues, We are delighted to invite you to the 50th Annual Meeting of the Society for Neuropediatrics in Bern. The Swiss capital, with its UNESCO World Heritage-listed old town and proximity to the Alps, provides a unique backdrop for our congress. An exciting and varied scientific and educational program awaits, focusing on neuromuscular diseases, neuro-oncology, vascular diseases, and prenatal/neonatal neuropediatrics. Additional topics include palliative medicine in neuropediatrics, epilepsy, and neonatal neuropediatrics. The Skills Lab will emphasize imaging and neuro-ophthalmology, among other core subjects. On Friday, the main sessions will be held in English to foster collaboration with European (EPNS) and Swiss (SGNP) societies and to make participation more accessible for our French- and Italian-speaking colleagues in Switzerland. We look forward to your active participation with video, lecture, and poster contributions, as well as engaging industry symposia. The congress will take place at Kursaal Bern, in the heart of the city with views of the old town and the mountains. For the Academy and Ethics Forum, you are invited to Inselspital on October 1, 2025. We hope to celebrate the society’s anniversary together at the social evening in the legendary Bierhübeli. We look forward to welcoming you to Bern, showcasing the city and Swiss specialties, hearing your exciting contributions, and offering opportunities for new learning.
